Please come and join CK and Penny Banks for a splosh social on Saturday 18th June 2022 from around 3.30pm.
The location will be The Foxglove Public House, 209-211 Liverpool Rd, London, N1 1LX UK
We will provide an update on the day specifying exact location within the pub and we're hoping to have a can of MUSHY PEAS as our table mascot to identify us (although this is subject to change depending upon what we can find in Tesco that morning).
We're likely to go on late and the pub serves a variety of food until 9:30pm - menu available here:
https://www.thefoxglove.co.uk/menu.
You're all welcome to come along at any point and of course there is no pressure to drink alcohol at any point.
This is not a play event, there will be no actual sploshing of any kind. Please respect the venue and the organisers.
We expect the highest level of consent and respect from everyone attending.
Check people's pronouns, if you're not sure then ask. Don't be defensive when you're challenged or corrected, just learn from your error.
This is a social event and whilst it's great to meet other people, this is not explicitly a space to hook up. Do not put pressure on anyone to share their personal details like where they live, what their job is or their social media details.
It's ok to ask but be prepared to accept that other people may wish to protect their privacy.
If you have any problems during or after the event please can you let CK or Penny Banks know. We wish to create a safe and friendly environment. Consent violations and other abuses will be treated seriously.
We will not be requiring any Covid related proofs or checks but will probably put out some guidance later on how we can all keep each other safer.
Please feel free to message if you have any questions or need any more details.
For the benefit of yourself and the other guests, it would be appreciated if you would take a Lateral Flow Test before attending. If you have a positive result or are feeling unwell please consider giving this meet up a skip. There will be more gatherings in the future!
